At first glance, this seems like an incredible offer — who wouldn’t want a full premium subscription for free, especially one that’s valued at over $2,000 per year?
However, after downloading the desktop application and logging in, users are left disappointed. Contrary to the bold claims on the landing page, there is no actual premium access provided. The features available remain limited unless you purchase a plan, and there is no clear way to activate or redeem this so-called “1-year free subscription.”
This raises some important questions:
Is this just a marketing gimmick to drive desktop app downloads?
Why advertise something that doesn’t get delivered?
How many users have downloaded the app expecting premium access, only to feel misled?

Users are left confused and frustrated. There’s no visible indication of the promised features being unlocked for free.
Is This False Advertising? Many users are now questioning whether this is simply a deceptive marketing tactic. According to advertising standards in many countries, businesses are required to be truthful and clear about their promotions. A bold promise like “Get Full Access for Free” without follow-through might very well violate these standards.
Final Thoughts TradingView is a reputable platform and has built trust over many years — but promotions like this can quickly erode user confidence. Transparency is key in the trading and investing space, where users rely on tools to make critical financial decisions.
